To those new to this blog or who don't remember, please google the name Sandie Olosky. She was the Seattle Metro driver who had a file full of complaints who eventually was involved in a fatal accident when she crossed the center lane of a busy highway with her bus and ran head-on into a pickup truck, killing the driver of the truck. Prior to her driving being the cause of this fatal accident she had been fired by Metro in Seattle twice, only to get her job back.
Here is a sampling of the complaints against Sandie Olosky:

Once again, I would welcome comments from a union member who can give me or anyone reading this a valid reason why it is appropriate to always work so hard to get these known bad bus drivers reinstated when they get fired.
Given history, I can't help but think that there's a decent chance that Lahcen Qouchbane (the Tri Met driver who got caught doing what appears to be reading a Kindle while driving on I-5 and who was subsequently fired) will end up getting his job back with Tri Met.
I get that far and away most bus drivers are very good at their jobs and that the Bozos are few and far between but these Bozos reflect poorly on all of you. The general public does not know that most of you are good to great at your jobs. They end up stereotyping all of you and lumping you all in with the Qouchbane's and Olosky's of the world.
