YES, this is the same C-Tran that was laying off coach operators less than a year ago. The same C-Tran that I spoke out against laying off those operators because several folks would be retiring and pointing out that there would be normal attrition such as folks quiting, losing their jobs involuntarily. But what do I know.....:-)
Funny thing, I've heard through the grapevine that all of those operators they let go last year have ended up being brought back....
Now if only they'd get rid of psycho and replace her with a normal, sane coach operator!

ReplyDeleteAl, C-Tran has a crazy lady who gives 99.9% of coach operators a bad name. I'm sure you've got some at Tri-Met. They f*ck up on a regular basis, don't get along with anyone at the garage, they have the customer service skills of Kim Jong-iL. Other than that, she's a peach to work with and ride a bus with. :-)
